Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Parish is one of East Kildonan’s many hidden secrets! Originally built in October 1919 and blessed by the first ever Ukrainian Catholic Bishop Nykyta Budka, moved to its current location at Watt Street and Munroe Ave in 1954. The Church is adorned with stained glass windows, many done by renowned Winnipeg Artist Leo Mol, with hundreds of Frescos and a hundred year old Iconostas. However ask anyone and they will tell you we are probably better known for the best homemade perogies in the city! We dare you to just have one!!!
