Built in 1917, this century-old building was originally The Public Press Building, a printing plant that produced The Grain Growers Guide – an influential advocate and political voice for prairie farmers. Today it is home to social justice advocacy through The Salvation Army and Booth University College. Tenants include: TSA’s College for Officer Training, Prairie Divisional Headquarters, and Public Relations/Regional Development offices; as well as Booth UC’s John Fairbank Memorial Library and Petersen Hall (which provides additional classroom space and offices for Booth’s School for Continuing Studies and Business Administration program). Tours are not available, but floors will be staffed.
