The Winnipeg Police Museum displays many artifacts related to the history of the Winnipeg Police Force, dating from its beginning in 1874. See displays of early equipment, memorabilia from the famous Winnipeg General Strike of 1919, a jail cell from the North End “E” Division built in 1911 and several restored vehicles. Visitors also have an opportunity to try on the buffalo coat, take arrested selfies and hold various pieces of police equipment.
