Battle of Seven Oaks Monument

Join the Honourable MaryAnn Mihychuk and the curator of Seven Oaks House Museum as we walk through 200 years of history. Beginning with the bloodiest conflict in Manitoba’s history, we’ll introduce you to the ghosts of the historic Seven Oaks neighbourhood: The first female voyageur, the father of the Métis Nation, the nose-less chief, and the hapless ‘Governor Simple’.

Guided tours will start at 2:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, lasting 60 minutes, maximum 50 participants, departing from the Battle of Seven Oaks Monument (Main Street at Rupertsland Boulevard).

In regards to the weather forecast:
Outdoor events will go on as scheduled if there is light rain. Outdoor events will be cancelled if there are heavy downpours or thunderstorms. Cancellations will NOT be posted.
