Aurora Farm is a solar powered farm located on a historical Métis river lot in south Winnipeg. A number of heritage animals call Aurora Farm home including Ojibwe ponies and a rainbow of heritage breeds of chickens. From organically growing and drying produce to raising dairy goats for goat milk soap and raising alpacas for fleece, Aurora Farm is bustling with activities to encourage Manitobans to become more ecologically conscious. We grow native prairie plants and practice Indigenous methods of gardening. We are delighted to show you around our farm and for you to meet our friendly animals!
Please note the General Store is wheelchair accessible but gravel parking lot and compacted soil farmyard may be challenging to navigate.
Guided tours will run every 30 minutes starting at 11:00am, with the last tour departing at 3:00pm. Tours will have a maximum of 10 guests. No registration required!
