Visit the oldest house in Winnipeg at the Seven Oaks House Museum. Step back in time to experience a stately country manor of wealthy Scottish-Métis traders. Walk through a nine-room home built in 1853 that reveals an immersive picture of daily life in the 19th century. The house was lived in by the Inkster family until 1912 and was then turned over to the City of Winnipeg and became a museum in 1958. The Inkster Store was built in 1831, in the distinctive style of Red River Frame Architecture, and is the oldest surviving building in Winnipeg.
Guided tours will run casually throughout both days. No registration required!
