2013 – The ‘Hidden Gem’

The Cathedral of Saints Vladimir and Olga located at 115 McGregor Avenue is truly a work of art. The Cathedral was built in 1950 and has a seating capacity of over 1,000. Critics say that some of the finest icon paintings and stained glass windows in Canada are located in the Cathedral 16 of 34 large stained glass windows were done by the late world famous artist Leo Mol. Wonderful guided tours were given, and this is second year in a row that the Cathedral has the honour of winning in the Hidden Gem category.
