The Ivan Franko Museum consists of two parts. The first focuses on the life and work of a 19th century Ukrainian writer, poet, activist, linguist , Ivan Franko, through art work which illustrates his literary works as well as his life. The Museum attempts to show the impact of his life on Ukrainians, both within Ukraine and on those who left for other countries. The second part of the Museum focuses on Ukrainian folk culture — ceramics, weaving, embroidery, folk instruments, glass and wood carving.
The museum is located within the Ivan Franko Manor, a multi storey seniors apartment complex at 200 McGregor Street.
