Little Brown Jug’s building roots go back long before the company was established at 336 William Ave. Over 8 years ago an old livery was discovered for sale in the Exchange District – a building of endless possibility. Through hard work and determination (and possibly luck from the 100 year old horseshoes found in the reno), a brewery was born in a 100 year old building in the heart of the city. The history seeps through everything that Little Brown Jug does in it’s daily operations. From wood repurposed into beautiful bartops in the taproom, to silver tanks shooting up into the old rafters, an old building was given new life through a team that loves the space they operate in, and a vision to create something that honoured the building it comes from.
