First Presbyterian Church, constructed in 1926-27, is an imposing multi-storey stone structure denoted by its two towers and Gothic Revival detailing. The interior displays stunning recessed leaded and stained-glass windows. Its superior acoustics is the result of the building’s high quality of the design in combination with the Von Beckerath organ. The day will feature a 30 minute organ music presentation at 11:00 am. The church’s faces west onto Vimy Ridge Park and contains historical items from both World Wars in the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders’ chapel.
