Welcome to the Silvester-Wilson Building, home to Warehouse Artworks since 1988. The building started out life as home for Wilson Stationery and was specifically built to accommodate it. It occupied the first three floors. We ask you to imagine the bustle of office supplies and furniture, of ledgers and blank books and typewriters beneath the beautiful pressed tin ceiling. Vintage vaults on every floor and a vintage elevator recall a commercial life a hundred years ago and much different than the workings of a modern art gallery.
