245 Smith Street, Winnipeg Police Headquarters

Visit the museum to find artifacts unique to the Winnipeg Police Service dating back to the late 1800s. From 1925 to 2011, the Museum is home to vintage vehicles and motorcycles. Displays include early equipment such as handcuffs, clubs an firearms, early police identification tools, including cameras, fingerprint cards and arrest photos aka “mug shots”, and equipment worn by past specialty units. Take selfies in our 1911 jail cell, 1925 REO “Paddy Wagon” or wearing a buffalo coat.
