Aurora Farm is a solar powered farm located on a historical Métis river lot in south Winnipeg. We are home to a number of heritage animals, including chickens, goats, alpacas and horses. From organically growing produce and native prairie plants to raising dairy goats for goat milk soap and alpacas for fleece, Aurora Farm is bustling with activities to inspire Manitobans to become more ecologically conscious. We are delighted to show you around our farm and for you to meet our friendly animals! Guests are welcome to explore the farm within the designated areas before or after the guided tours.

Please note the General Store is wheelchair accessible but gravel parking lot and pathways may be challenging to navigate, especially if there is a lot of rain.

On both days guided tours of the barn and site will run every 45 minutes starting at 11:00am, with the last tour beginning at 3:30pm. Tours will be approximately 25 minutes in length with a maximum of 30 guests. No registration required!

In regards to the weather: Outdoor events will go on as scheduled if there is light rain. Outdoor events will be cancelled if there are heavy downpours or thunderstorms. Cancellations will NOT be posted.
