Walk the cobblestone streets and experience the vibrant, bustling history of the Exchange District. Learn about Newspaper Row, turn-of-the-century banks and the Winnipeg General Strike of 1919. Get to know the famous and unsung characters who made Winnipeg the city it is today.
Please note the tour is wheelchair accessible but sidewalks may be in poor condition and challenging to navigate.
Guided tours will start at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm departing from and concluding at 492 Main Street (Exchange District BIZ office). Tours will be approximately 90 minutes in length with a maximum of 20 guests. Registration is required! Registration opens Saturday, May 18th at noon through the link provided below.
In regards to the weather: Outdoor events will go on as scheduled if there is light rain. Outdoor events will be cancelled if there are heavy downpours or thunderstorms. Cancellations will NOT be posted.
