Where Our Stories Meet
This is your chance to learn about the archeological history lying just beneath the surface at The Forks National Historic Site. Let one of Parks Canada’s Heritage Presenters take you on a guided tour, bringing the confluence of the Red and Assiniboine rivers to life through stories covering 6,000 years of history. Visit our information kiosk beside the Fort Parka playground to learn about all of the exciting programs and activities we have to offer this year at The Forks National Historic Site.

Please note the tour can be modified to avoid stairs but uneven terrain, inclines and declines may be challenging to navigate.

On both days guided tours will start at 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm, departing from outside the Parks Canada’s playground and finishing at the the Forks Market. Tours will be approximately 60 minutes in length with a maximum of 20 guests. Registration is required! Register the day of the event at the information kiosk (green pop up tent) near the Parks Canada’s playground.

In regards to the weather: Outdoor events will go on as scheduled if there is light rain. Outdoor events will be cancelled if there are heavy downpours or thunderstorms. Cancellations will NOT be posted.
